It truly seemed like fixed gears are having a bit of a revival at the moment, with a few builders showcasing beautiful modern track bikes. The racks outside the show equally showed off with everything from a crazy GT time trial bike to a classic Eddy Merckx.
Plenty of Rivendells should come as no surprise in a town like Portland. Same with all the tallbikes! It was also exciting to see so many Wound Up forks still kicking around the city.
John spotted this early 1980s 25″ Ritchey, complete with a high rise, long reach stub-clamp Bullmoose, and a beautiful patina. If you’re reading this, we approve! Well done!
There were so many gems in the rough outside the show. With a show like MADE, you can expect the crowd to bring some heat and Portland did not disappoint.
