The Supernaut was launched in 2023 as a limited edition, now a permanent part of the Argonaut line, with 30 dedicated production slots available in 2025. Providing 13-size options, Argonaut can match a Supernaut precisely to the rider’s physical needs.

Each Supernaut is handmade in Bend, Oregon, from start to finish, utilizing an advanced composite engineering process known as high-pressure silicone molding (HPSM). Like everything from Argonaut, not only are these HPSMs made in-house, but the tooling required is also fabricated in the Bend, OR, facility.

The Supernaut family includes the GR3 gravel bike and RM3 road bike. With Supernaut, Argonaut streamlines the essential elements of their engineering, informed by years of continuous improvement at every step of the process. Over the last decade, the Argonaut team has designed hundreds of potential carbon layups. Supernaut is the expression of this process, providing proven layup patterns based on rider weight, power, and intended use. Supernaut is the supreme road and gravel cycling experience, engineered without compromise.

Also introduced today is the D33 Gravel Wheelset by Argonaut Cycles, hand-built in Bend, Oregon.

Optimized Durability for Superior Stability

The D33 Gravel Wheels feature a 33mm rim depth and an impressive 28mm internal rim width, designed to accommodate larger tires. This design enhances traction and compliance on gravel roads or trails. The wider rims also ensure the tire sidewall aligns perfectly with the rim’s edge, reducing the risk of tire roll during cornering or navigating obstacles, thus improving stability and maintaining directional control. Engineered for use with wider tires at a low volume, pairing the hookless D33 wheel with a tire between 45-50mm removes trail chatter, providing a stiff package where it matters.

Rugged Performance Without Compromise

Weighing in at only 375g per rim and 1269g for the complete wheelset, the D33 Gravel Wheels are lighter than many high-end road wheelsets. This makes them a robust, no-compromise solution for demanding gravel rides, races, and adventures. To complete the package, the D33 gravel wheels incorporate Carbon-Ti hubs and straight-pull DT Aerolite spokes, resulting in a seamless, reliable, and easily serviceable wheel system that delivers a predictable, stiff, yet comfortable riding experience.
