After seemingly years of teasing, including in our Mason Cycles Shop Visit, Mason sneakily announced that the Macro has finally landed in its Instagram Stories this morning. Let’s take a closer look at this rigid or hardtail 29er mixed-terrain bicycle below!

The MASON Macro can be built as either a rigid 29er with Mason’s HotShoe2 carbon fork (£3,800) and cargo rack or a hardtail 29er (£3,300), optimized for bikepacking racing conditions or straight up touring or bike camping at a leisurely pace.
Its chassis is highly configurable, conceived around carrying cargo and water for long distances. Select an optimum load and bottle formation from 28 eyelets arranged over eight mounting points. Maximize space for front-mounted loads with integrated cable routing that minimizes bar clutter. Choose conventional internal routing if you prefer, or use a combination of both to tune the Macro exactly to your requirements.
Geometry
With a 67.5º head angle across all sizes and a 75º-ish seat tube angle with 63 mm of bottom bracket drop, the Macro is of racing pedigree.
