The MONoPOLE No 01 is a 24″ x 20″ wheeled front-loading mini velo cargo bike with an interesting Gates belt-driven steering mechanism. John got ahold of a rolling chassis a few weeks ago and finally built it up. We figured you’d like to see the complete bike before he customizes it to suit his cargo needs. Stone King Rally 2024 | Riding Beyond the Rally
he Stone King Rally is not just a race; it’s a celebration of what mountain biking is all about.
Spanning six days of high-mountain adrenaline, riders from far and wide embark on an MTB enduro-style point-to-point adventure from Arvieux in the French Alps to Bordighera on the Italian Mediterranean coast.
Riders are treated to some of the world’s most beautiful mountain bike trails, covering a staggering 275 km with an arm-pumping 21,000 m of descending. As we commemorate the last of the three Stone King Rally events, komoot aims to preserve its legacy through the trails, tales, and phenomenal mountain biking experiences it has provided.

Stolen Garage: Multidisciplinary Velo Cafe, Bike Shop, and Framebuilders in Paris, France
Located in the heart of Paris, France, Stolen Garage is an innovative multidisciplinary space, or “lieu hybride,” in French. It brings together a variety of disciplines under one roof. The venue combines a café/bistro, bike shop, fully-equipped repair workshop, and a custom frame building and painting studio.
To accompany Josh’s photographic documentation of the Stolen Garage space, we tapped co-owner Finlay Skillen to pen an overview of their background and unique approach to building community and inspiring creativity around a love for bicycles in Paris.

Safa Brian Announces the “Tour to The Tour ”
Today, Brian ‘Safa’ Wagner, cyclist and filmmaker, announced in a video on his YouTube channel that he and two of his talented friends—Alex Colorito (videographer) and Taylor Dawson (cyclist)—are departing on Saturday (July 2, 2023) for a European bike adventure. Over ten days, the crew will enjoy a route that crosses the Pyrenees and includes a total distance of 1,000 kilometers and 22,000 meters of climbing. They will depart from San Sebastian, Spain—one day after the Tour de France Grand Départ—pedal over iconic cols and mountain passes in France, through Andorra, and then descend into Barcelona to complete their route.
