After multiple requests, we have our Roadrunner graphic on 22 oz bottles, stickers, and a long-sleeve t-shirt. The Radavist Vulture shirt is back on a long-sleeve, as well as our Ocotillo/Agave wool socks, Yo! wool socks, and a new Breccia wool sock design for the geology nuts out there. Speaking of rocks, our Malachite Dynaplug Pills came out incredible, and we’ve got three colors in The Radavist Camp Hat.

Website Improvement: Pinch + Zoom is Live

Our brave programmer, Ian Register, just rolled out the pinch+zoom feature. You might think this was an easy fix, but Ian’s been in the Javascript weeds for some time with this bug. Well, he finally implemented the update today after scrubbing out six Javascript files. Give it a go, and if you find bugs, please drop a comment with your operating system and device!

In Stock for Now: The Radavist Summer 2024 Merch

We’ve got some fresh threads for your feet and head in our Summer 2024 merch drop!

We’ve finally found our summer sock supplier with a small US manufacturer that has developed the comfiest socks yet. Seriously, these socks are the best-feeling summer-weight wool socks we’ve ever worn, and we’re not just saying that! We worked hard dialing in the fit and feel after lots of feedback from our customers.

This drop includes our 1960s pop art pool water-themed Hockney design in turquoise, two colorways of the 3-stripe Klunker sock (a summer staple!), and our Sidewinder socks, inspired by the Mojave Desert Sidewinder’s ability to bury its body in sand, leaving everything but its eyes exposed.

Adding to the fun are three fresh colors in our Camp Hat design. We went back to our pre-COVID supplier, restyled the hat with a little bit more room in the head, and are offering them in three colors: Sage, Mallow, and Slate. These new hats feature a plastic buckle, and The Radavist script on the back. Sewn in Los Angeles from made in the USA cotton.

The Radavist Summer 2024 Drop is in stock today at The Radavist Webshop.

As with all of our merch sales, your support pays our team so we can keep the site fresh daily. Every single penny helps, and we greatly appreciate your support! From everyone over here, THANK YOU!

Website Improvement: Video Category Page

As the longest-running adventure, lifestyle, and alternative cycling website, we’ve been accumulating massive amounts of videos since migrating to WordPress in 2008. By our last tallying, that includes over 8000 videos, spanning across every path of cycling culture. To make things a little easier to navigate, we’re starting to roll out some simple tweaks and large restructuring improvements over the next few weeks. The first sampling is currently available; a new Video Category page.

You can access this by clicking the hamburger menu at the top right of the menu, or simply click the video category tag on any video. This is where we’ll pin our video projects to the top. More granular breakdown of the content itself is on the way, too…

And as always, if you like and subscribe to our YouTube channel, it’ll help us make more documentaries like From Biocrust, With Love.
