I like it when these two get together, even if it’s only for a quick photo. Damian‘s Milholland never gets old. Great photo, Brenton.

Here’s a teaser for the upcoming King of Colfax race in Denver.
I used to drool all over myself when Aaron Hayes from Courage would post photos of his bikes, so it should come as no surprise that I’m doing the same now. Chris Bishop inherited these iconic track ends from a current client of his / ex client of Courage. It’s a long story, but I can’t wait to watch it unfold at the Bishop Flickr.

I’m sure, like most of you, I love seeing photos of Massan smashing on a track bike. Especially on that LOW.

At first glance, Ross’ custom Nagasawa track bike looks very similar to how it did two years ago. In the time that he’s had it, the bike has lightened up considerably due to the various titanium upgrades. A Ti seatpost, Ti stem, Ti Chris King, complete Phil Wood titanium kit and new wheels definately wasn’t cheap but it changed the overall feel of the bike. Since Ross commutes, he opted for front and rear brakes and I think that adds to the radness, especially on a custom built Nagasawa! Check out more in the Gallery!
Of conceptual time trial and pursuit bikes but this is a rad photo. See more here.
Check out Juliet Elliot riding for Met Helmets.
When I ask people if it’s ok to shoot photos of their bike, they often reply with “let me clean it first”. Where’s the fun in that? As long as there’s not salt residue from winter slush on your beautiful steel steed, there’s nothing wrong with road crud and grime. No matter how nice your bikes are, they’ll always look better with some dirt on them. More on this bike in particular, later on this week.
I have to credit Andy from Fyxomatosis for the “Life’s too short…” lead in.
Back when I did the Raidô contest, Aaron at 44RN made a few of these purple anodized 44RN 144#47 chainrings. I’ve been holding onto mine for well over a year, waiting on the perfect project to put it on. Over the past few months, I’ve been slowly acquiring parts for a new track bike build, more to come!

It’s not everyday that you see a Richard Sachs coated in another color besides his signature red. But then again, it’s not everyday a 1970’s Richard Sachs pista shows up in the hands of Andy at Fyxomatosis. That’s a nice piece of America you’ve got there, mate. See more photos and a great post here.
I really would like to make it out to this event. Fixed Days Berlin is coming! Plan accordingly. Keep in touch via the Fixed Days Berlin Facebook.
Photos by Arthur Alvarez
Kevin Mihovich wanted his Cinelli Mash track bike to stand out from the rest by being hidden. Does that make sense? So he commissioned West Coast Hydrographix in Redwood City, CA to cover his bike in real tree camo. Then, he enlisted the help of his friend Arthur Alvarez to do a photoshoot in the woods. Pretty clever. Check out more below!
Now these look sharp! The only product I’ve seen in person from French component company Victoire Cycles was the early prototype Supersprint hub collaboration with Bishop Bikes and they looked just as good in person. New for 2013 are the HTF threaded rear hubs, for those who prefer traditional hub threading over the splined interface of the HTF splined.
See the full 2013 Victoire line here.
I couldn’t help but chuckle at this photo on the Pelizzoli World Facebook entitled “Happiness?”.
Especially when compared to this photo.
Pedal Consumpion and Leader‘s collaboration frame, the Kagero, is now in stock. Pick up either 2013 color at your local bike shop, or at the PC Shop.
David Trimble’s Red Hook Crit is undergoing some slight changes. For 2013, there will be a new qualifying format in place. Check out the new rules below.
